چکیده
One of the key challenges in additive manufacturing plastic goods using Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology is to ensure their strength. The low strength polymer materials and distinct anisotropy mechanical properties limit use 3D printing as an alternative traditional small-scale production technologies. most promising solution goal increasing printed application continuous fiber reinforcement. Several devices software products that allow preparing a control program for with reinforcement are known, however, having all advantages, they, like conventional products, have wide spread various directions (in plane layer perpendicularly it, direction growing). In this paper, authors propose along three-dimensional trajectories smooth out products’ FFF wider possibilities them final goods. course work, printer ability print five degrees freedom preparation programs were upgraded process laying fiber; modes developed; samples produced standard static bending tests. experiments show improves specimen’s strength, proposed technique ensures lower flexing compared flat uniaxial fibers, though, destruction reinforced specimens occurred without evident delamination.

Additive Manufacturing: Reproducibility of Metallic Parts
The present study deals with the properties of five different metals/alloys (Al-12Si, Cu-10Sn and 316L—face centered cubic structure, CoCrMo and commercially pure Ti (CP-Ti)—hexagonal closed packed structure) fabricated by selective laser melting. The room temperature tensile properties of Al-12Si samples show good consistency in results within the experimental errors. Similar reproducible resu...

متن کاملSelecting parts for additive manufacturing in service logistics
Purpose – For more than ten years, the value of additive manufacturing (AM) for after-sales service logistics has been propagated. Today, however, only few applications are observed in practice. In this paper, possible reasons for this discrepancy are discussed and a method is developed to simplify the identification of economically valuable and technologically feasible business cases. Design/m...
